Applications of BBa_K933001

This piece was one of the four pieces that were made to test the Threonine 6 repeats for the four different codons that code for Threonine. This piece has ACT repeated 6 times as the "repeat sequence" flanked by BamHi and HindIII. This piece was transformed into chemically competent cells and grown up. After the cells turned red, a colony was picked and grown in broth overnight and sent for sequencing and then ran in the Tecan to measure mCherry and GFP expression. These values helped us draw conclusions comparing the four Threonine 6 repeat pieces.
